Re: Air travel gear confusion
I work in video production, and just travelled with 6 cases weighing about 280 pounds with about $200,000 worth of gear. We shipped our stuff UPS to the hotel to await us and then sent it back from a UPS store. (Government rate to send it back UPS Ground was only $33 and it got there in 3 days.)

Re: Lost my best friend yesterday
Sorry to hear about your loss. We lost our Corgi several years ago and went about a year and a half without. We adopted a new rescue, Cooper, from Three Rivers shelter in Snohomish about 2 years ago and he's become just as much a member of the family. Best wishes to you as you go through this proces...

f/s ScubaPro Jet Fins XXL
Hi All -
I have a BRAND NEW pair of ScubaPro Jet Fins with BOTH spring straps (currently installed) and the factory straps. These are in the new XXL size.
They don't fit my rockboots, so I'm looking for a pair of Turtle Fins in either XL or 2XL.
I'd like to get around $85 for these.

Hi Lowell -
I just returned from a month on the R/V Thompson and have some good contacts in Oceanography if you need any help with the GIS stuff. Alden Denny and Monica Reiss come to mind... Let me know if you want an introduction.

I saw the seal sitters there yesterday as well. They were arranged in lawn chairs watching the Cove from the sidewalk. It would make an awesome picture to sit next to them in another lawn chair with a baseball bat.
