Re: Hood Canal Bridge
The current can rip fairly hard there. It’s all sand with soft invertebrates hanging out. Might be great for crabbing!

Re: Triton Cove Pinnacle
I have dived that triton pinnacle. It’s awesome! We went at a negative low tide and anchored at the high spot like 115’. There are massive wall ledges that staircase down in to the abyss of hood canal. Many medium sized cloud sponges all over and giant old rockfish too, red brots in the cracks and f...

Duncan rock

Does anyone experienced with Duncan have some advice on how to plan the safest dive out there? We are certainly aware of how challenging this site can be. Please assume that my boat a...

Re: Looking for dive buddies March 25, 26, Hood Canal
You're in luck! There's a 'fun dive' planned (on behalf of Underwater Sports Olympia) at Sund rock on Saturday 3/25. Meet them at hoodsportndive at 8am, and maybe good to respond on FB or call to check in. Lots of divers looking for a buddy! https://www.facebook.com/events/175372599613662??ti=ia Sen...

Yay for red brots! I've seen 3 at fish pen wall on a single dive before.
Never seen the cloud sponge there, where is it at Sund?

Today at Pulali point and Dabob pinnacle was 30-50ft of beautiful viz! Top 15ft is a murky freshwater lens, but lots of light penetrating down deep.
