hunting report

mav, just to give you a ling teaser i went out yesterday for opening day. hit the possession ferry. the score was two ling 16 and 20 pounds, one cabezon, about 6 or 7 pounds, two rockfish (via rod and reel), and about 4 beers total. the five fish netted us right at 20lbs of meat. can you say oh yeah...

deception pass

well, i have decided that i won't be diving deception pass on may 6/7. even with a one to two foot exchange the weakest current prediction i can find is still 3.5 knots. that is a bit stiff when coupled with the unpredictable nature of the flow in that area. i don't care to take on a merit dive just...

I live in lake stevens and usually frequent Lighthouse in lynnwood (close to work). h20 hunting

I enjoy hunting the beastly lingcod that ply the waters. i prefer sites with abundant life and the try and practice selective harvest. I advocate using what you take and be very giving with the spoils of the hunt.
