Re: God's Pocket keeping deposits for COVID cancelled trips

How about a little thought experiment where we put ourselves in the other's shoes. Our country's incompetence, denial and defiance has ruined their whole year as a business Blame whoever you think is responsible for letting USA become the greatest covid nation, thus forcing border closures, and let...

Monterey!
Dove Monterey Bay last year. Tried for a boat but they were all booked.

I hear some of the boats are going out again but with limited passengers.
Boat diving in Monterey is overrated :D . Shore diving is great there :supz:

Re: God's Pocket keeping deposits for COVID cancelled trips

This is the same thing going on with concerts. They are rolling back concert dates because in most cases, they have already paid out for support personnel and venue costs. I would imagine the same thing here and thy probably don't have the money to return. They would probably be out of business if t...

Awesome. Thanks. I was also thinking about Cozumel... I also wanted to do the cenotes as well though. I'll check out those places out. Do you think the dive op is better than Scuba Club Cozumel? Let me know how it works out...

Playa Del Carmen recommendations

I think I'm heading to Playa Del Carmen in April... any suggestions? I'm looking for a dive shop and also a place to stay. I speak spanish so staying on the economy is fine (no need for resort)... thanks!

I tried.... it was about $250 through PADI. It is much cheaper through a shop. Unless I'm doing something wrong... which is quite possible.

So, I'm going to Cabo in two weeks and realized Nitrox might be good to have. Where should I go and what should I expect to pay for it? Thanks!

Re: Boat Dives in Vancouver/Victoria area

So, I'm thinking about heading up there. Has anything changed since this thread started? I don't care if I go to Victoria or vancouver but I'd like to dive a Monday from a boat. Any place up there have daily diving boats?
