On a dive today at Redondo near Salty's around 5PM I ran into a salmon shark bigger than my dive partner who is 5'10''. Has anyone else here had the pleasure of seeing one of these amazing but incredibly intimidating creatures?

Thanks for having me. I have been on 10 dives so far OW certified but will get my AOW very soon. I own my own gear and try to dive whenever i get a chance.
