The safety stop that changed my life....

(SeattlePaul1975) and I recently returned from a trip to God's Pocket. The trip was epic as always, but extra special this year because he proposed under water at Fantasea Island! (happens to be my favorite dive there) Because where else would two divers (who met diving) get engaged?? It was so perf...

Re: Aeris vs. Suunto

Thank you for the feedback! I purchased a used oceanic versa pro , and then discovered it was no longer serviceable, so was a little paranoid and trying to find information on Aeris; thank you for that info. I learned on a suunto, and it's what most of my buddies use. Sounds like it's as reliable as...

Aeris vs. Suunto

I'm looking into a new dive computer, how does Aeris compare with Suunto? The Aeris seems to be much lower price than Suunto.. is there a reason? I found an aeris A300 on ebay for $235, has computer, pressure gauge and compass. I found a Suunto through Underwater sports for less than $400, just comp...

Re: New Lights for GoPro Cameras on Kickstarter

I saw this and was wondering if it is worth pursuing. I'm a new diver but it looks like an ideal setup to travel with. I have a gopro, but just logged my 24th dive so haven't added it to my gear just yet. I'm headed to Belize in May. Would this be good for a starter?

It was great diving with you guys! Thanks so much for making my first night dive a comfortable one. These pics are great. I look forward to seeing more of the amazing sea life. I'm on the hunt to get dry gloves asap!

Re: Shampoo!

I used conditioner before our dive this Sat and I think it helped. I'd hate to see you cut off that lovely hair!

Hi there!

Hi there! Just completed my open water cert last month, and also my dry suit cert. Plan on pursuing nitrox and perfect buoyancy next. 8 dives logged so far, and looking forward to a San Juan tour this Saturday. Scuba has been a bucket list item for a long time, so am very excited!
