Re: Belize in November
It's been awhile since I've been to Belize, but I'll tell you what I know. The big plus about diving from AC is the proximity to the barrier reef. You do your surface interval in town, relaxing, and then head back out past the reef for your second dive. Then, when you're done, you're back in town fo...

Help me get my trim (and weight and buoyancy) back
So after at least five years without cold water diving (or any scuba diving) I've had a new neck seal put on my dry suit, my tanks hydroed and VIPed, reconditioned my can light battery, and will get my reg back from service on Thursday. Now I have to make sure I'm squared away. Anybody on the board ...

Re: Dry suit repairs
Yes, it's a latex seal. But I've screwed up enough DIY attempts that I think I'll leave it to someone who knows what they're doing. And that's why I asked about a shop that does a good job.

Re: Back to scuba
Oh come on, freediving is still diving. I've been way deeper on just a lungful of gas than I have toting an heavy extra load on my back. And it doesn't scare the dolphins away. I just can't stay down as long.

Dry suit repairs
I'm in the process of resurrecting my scuba gear after 5 years of freediving. I think I've gotten everything taken care of except my dry suit. The neck seal is trashed, but the wrist seals seem fine. Anyone have a suggestion on who would do a good job of replacing the seal that's within driving dist...

Back to scuba
After almost exclusively freediving for the last five years I'm getting the itch to carry more air than just my lungs can hold. That's not to say I'm giving up freediving by any means, but just want be a more complete diver again. So I've sent my reg out for service, got my tanks hydroed, and recond...
