Thanks. I've already posted it there too. I sold the Pursuit through their site yesterday.
Finding someone with a quick $6,000 cash is a little tougher though. I suspect it should sell fast, but perhaps not before I have to go out of town (on business) for a couple weeks.

Re: Evolution - CCR for sale - $6,000
If I can sell this unit by the end of this weekend, I will also include a 13cf argon bottle (with reg) and quick connect bracket (bracket alone is worth $200) attached to the side of the CCR. I will also throw in a 44lb keg of sofnolime ($200 with tax). You won't find a better bargain on this type o...

I had the privilege of meeting Curt the other day and getting a full presentation and breakdown of these units. I must admit, I am very impressed with the dual scrubbers (less waste when re-packing, etc.), and the streamlined packaging of the units. The units I looked at, had no counter-lungs in the...

I didn’t read all of the attached links, but if they didn’t already cover it, I’d highly recommend adding a quick connect/disconnect inline. They have an auto shut off on them that shuts of the flow when disconnected. I.e. you can “plumb up” before leaving home, and then connect in seconds as you ar...

Murphy doesn't just hang out with solo divers. He likes buddies too, as in wrecks (Nanaimo), or pairs in OOA situations (lady in cove two who died a year or two ago with her buddy trying to force his alt. on her oblivious person as she was panicking and bolting for surface. ) Murphy can get involved...

I have a 10 and 11 yr old daughter. I let my 11 yr old take Padi OW at 10. And the 10 yr old did the seal program in the pool at 9. The water is too cold for 85 lb girls in wet suits so I had to buy a drysuit, etc. The older girl was mature enough, but the younger one who is 10 now, I am guessing wo...

Well, I guess the answer then is that the reason people are getting heated about solo diving is because that's been the topic yesterday and today. Tomorrow it could be about CCRs, and perhaps on Friday we could give wreck penetration a shot! I think there are many hot button issues, and this one is...

I think people consider soloing taboo/high risk for the same reason you consider deep deco diving at the worst end... it's their opinion. I could pull statistics that say I'm safer underwater doing deep solo deco diving, than I am above water not diving (more deaths happen on the street than under ...

Bite me!
Man I sure get annoyed when I see these types of solo debates. Everyone thinks they know everything about everyone else. How dare you people say what kind of diving should or should not be done by someone else. Just because solo diving isn’t right for you, doesn’t mean it isn’t right for someone els...

Well, like always, the stories have started conflicting with themselves. Not sure which is correct, but here is what I heard….. I was thinking about getting rid of a lot of my open circuit tech stuff as I'm not using it anymore.
