Mystery Worms At Redondo
These guys were all over the place down around the carousel boat and I'm pretty sure we haven't seen them before. And the way it's standing up I wonder if it was spawning?

Redondo 5/28?
Anybody planning to be at Redondo tomorrow around noon? My wife could use a buddy. She's certified to dive solo but I'd be more comfortable if she's with somebody. I can't dive at the moment or I'd be doing it. Anybody going?

Re: Belize Resort Recommendations Please
Cocoview may be our favorite place on the whole planet. We've been there multiple times. We've heard about the diving in Belize and want to check it out. And as a bonus, Cocoview is right around the corner if we want to pop over and visit Robert and Gringo. So, specific resort names? I gather many o...

Belize Resort Recommendations Please
Hi all, It's been a long time since I was on here. I had a heart attack in 2019, then my wife developed chronic pericarditis and has been fighting that for close to 3 years, so we haven't been in the water. But we're both getting back to full strength now, and we want to plan a trip to Belize next y...

Squid Love!
Yesterday our divemaster Gringo (honest, that's what he goes by) took us out for a private tour of the tiny life here in Cocoview's front yard. While we were there we encountered these two reef squid, just sort of hanging out watching us and probably trying to figure out if we were good to eat. Then...

Roatan Dive Accident
We lost a diver last night. Details are still sketchy, but he and his family were on a night dive when he started having distress. He tried to surface while blinking his light but seems to have lost consciousness on the way up. His wife came up screaming for help and the security boat was there in l...

Roatan Nudibranch Hunt
Hi from Cocoview Resort, Roatan, Honduras. There's a saying here: you have to work for your nudibranchs here. They're not kidding! Gringo found this guy for us, I have no idea how. We have no idea how good we have it in Puget Sound! So let's play "find the nudibranch" in this picture, beca...

Orange Fish, Orange Fish, What Are You?
Found him on our dive at Catalina. I initially thought this guy was a baby garibaldi but I don't think so. Can't seem to find him in my books. Help?

Hello from Catalina!
We haven't been able to do any serious diving for almost 2 years thanks to health crap. We decided to make up for it a bit with this trip. Yesterday we dove the Casino park and it was amazing. The high point for me was when a great big male sheephead swam right up to my camera. This thing won't let ...

We spent 3 days at Mike's last month and had a great time. Few people very peaceful, and the viz for diving was very good. I suggest keep calling and leaving messages, they should get back to you.

Asking an important question like that because you haven't learned the answer yet isn't dumb. It's learning and it's a Very Good Thing (TM).

Sea Whip With A Twist
Literally! I'd be interested to know the mechanism that caused it to grow like this. This colony was at Mike's Beach Resort on Hood Canal, Tuesday 6/7/2020. Depth was right around 95-100 feet.

What part of the Puget Sound area are you in? Lots of buddies all up and down the coast ready to show you around.

I'd Rather be Diving
Last Saturday night, September 7, I had a totally new experience: a heart attack. A combination of: - a nurse wife who called 911 within seconds of the onset of the symptoms - a fire station more or less right around the corner from us so paramedics got here in less than 10 minutes - quick action an...

Definitely taking a look. But there's on small flaw on the page: "Army Core" should be "Army Corps."
Let's not give them any petty little reason to blow us off.
