Re: Repetitive Diving - Safety
Nitrox won't be an expensive habit if you buy an all-you-can-eat fill card. With as many dives as you are doing that would be much cheaper than buying air fills one at a time. "Nitrox from Bob" = 2x win. We offer "all you can breath monthly nitrox". We have a few different optio...

THANK YOU! For the Kudos! That was Joshua that was helping you. I am the guy with glasses that gave you the allen wrench when you came back from the dive.LCF wrote:I don't know who the gentleman with whom we dealt was. If we or MAYBE when we open a shop in Seattle, It WOULD be named Tacoma SCUBA. You know like Tacoma Screw.
It would most likely be something like Tacoma SCUBA South.

Re: $225 to $250 for a neck seal?
The most time consuming part of doing a seal replacement is the prep work. On both latex and neoprene seals. If the suit has lots of old clue, or the previous job was sloppy it will take more prep work. I have seen some suits that came from other shops that look like a 2 year old dribbled glue all o...

Re: Looks like Uemis is belly up...
I think the there main problem in the United States was the imported they chose to go with. He JACKED the price WAY up. I stopped ordering them when he took over. The guy has HURT a lot of SCUBA company's. I was shocked UEMIS went with him. It's still a cool computer. I have 2 of them I'll dive em t...

2011 CRAWFISH BOIL!
It's CRAWFISH time again. Saturday June 4th. One more time we've got live crawfish shipping in from Louisiana. We'll be boiling them up at my house in a authentic manner. We've even got boily pots made out of old beer kegs. It's kind of potluckish. We'll be supplying crawfish boiled with corn, potat...

Re: New Bare SB
I emailed Bare about the pee valve and they said that THEY will not install them but you can have them installed if you wish. It VOIDS the warranty in "THAT AREA" it was installed. If you poke a hole in ANY suit there will be no warranty in that area. It does NOT affect Bare's lifetime wa...

Re: New Bare SB
Pee Valves CAN be put in this suit. Adding another pocket is NOT possible. Bare will not glue on pockets because they don't want to "reduce the stretch" on that part of the suit. Hope this clears things up. If you have more questions about this suit or any other Bare product just give me a...

Re: HOG regulators
I have got to say a few things about this. Chis the owner of Hog is a personal friend of mine, so I have to comment about this post. Chris has been in the diving industry for many years. He understands how the industry works. Most people don't know much about the gear other than how to use it, or wh...

Re: Treasure hunt??
I'm always amazed at the bitter, angry feelings that the treasure hunt generates every year. I think they should get rid of it. The expo is always a fun time for me. I get to see all my friends in the same place, make new friends, and oggle new dive gear. Hard to see anything negative about that. I...

Re: Treasure hunt??
I think everyones expectations are just too high. It isnt possible for every diver to win a fabulous prize, lets be realistic. These prizes are donated. I think they do a very good job making it work. Everyone just needs to be realistic, 150 divers arent all going on a dive trip! I'm not saying eve...

The web site for the Treasure Hunt stated everyone who got a ball got a prize. Then the site was changed. A lot of people are unhappy with how it went. Seems to be problems every year with the Treasure Hunt.

Thanks for the kudos. Thanks for coming last night. I went and dove the Nomad setup with Pete this morning on Dalco Wall. I REALLY liked it. It was easy to setup and use. It trimmed out AWESOME! You should try one out. I think I will be diving side mount in the Puget Sound.
