Lake Wenatchee 10/14

Lake Wenatchee was pretty much a home away from home while i was growing up and still is. So obviously I had to bring the dive gear up on my trip to Oktoberfest in Leavenworth this past weekend. Mannyland and I planned to dive off a friends dock and just see what was down there. We knew there was a ...

Re: looking for drysuit advice

The big/main name I see are Bare, DUI, USIA, aqualung, Apollo. Considerations like neoprene vs shell, boots vs rock boots, latex or neoprene wrist/neck seals I've had good luck finding suits for friends on Craigslist in the $200-$300 range and I think that's pretty solid deal. But most importantly I...

Re: Is there a drysuit with attached boots and rings?

I got mine from Lighthouse dive in Seattle, they're in Lake City. It may be able to get it ordered with drygloves but you would probably have to call the shop and ask.

Re: Is there a drysuit with attached boots and rings?

The SiTech gloves are pretty easy to install, it's a system on interlocking rings. One set goes on/inside the suits wrist cuffs. The other fits into a pair of regular old rubber gloves. I actually bought mine off the shelf and it fits well. I have latex neck and wrist seals. And would definitely hav...

Re: Is there a drysuit with attached boots and rings?

Do you not want zip seals then?? I went with a Trilam Bare techdry (has boots) and added the Sitech drygloves. Absolutely love it, pullover gloves do sound nice but I like the locking rings just fine.

I ended up adding a pocket to my suit, would highly recommend pockets as well. :supz:
