Re: Pretty Cool Article about Free Dive Record Setting

It's tough to get out. Just ask my regular dive buddies, Penelopypants and Diver_C. 2 kids and a house in need of a lot of work takes a ton of time. I've considered meeting you and Tom-nic on the last couple of outings, but like I said, it's tough. I was going to dive this week, but we were scared o...

Dive Classes at 3TN

I was out this weekend on Sunday diving with Diver_C at 3TN. We were surprised to see a class going on there with the result being parking clear up on the hedge. Pretty small place to be holding classes. We thought it was a poor choice and couldn't recall ever seeing a class there before. I don't re...

It was good to briefly catch up with some people I haven't seen in 6 months to a year. Thanks to P for setting it up. Until next time. :mmmbeer:

Re: Sergeant Pepper Returns!!

I think having children so far apart in age creates additional difficulty since their activities are so different and it's difficult to leave it all up to your significant other. Too much of that creates difficulties in a relationship that are better left not created if you know what I mean.

Re: Sergeant Pepper Returns!!

Wow, thanks for the warm re-welcome. I'm not as active these days now that I have one son deep into learning reading, writing and arithmetic and one that is pushing the terrible twos. :binkybaby: Only so many hours in the day and this past summer was all about paintball. But I'm trying to dive a lit...

Re: Club Dive! Club Dive! Club Dive! June 22nd, Sund Rock!

I'd love to come and greet some new faces, but I have 3 reasons for not coming.

1. I'll be on a plane for work all day on Saturday and
2. I can't afford the gas to get to Hood Canal
3. I'm married... see reason #1.

Have a great time y'all. :rr:

Re: Wet Gloves?

I had a pair of Norther Diver wet gloves and I did not like them for two reasons. 1.) They were not the warmest gloves I ever wore especially during the winter months. 2.)Not durable at all. I wore them out in a few months. The issue being that when those gloves touch velcro, they just get destroyed...

Divers are like a-holes. :bootyshake: We all stink and we're always on the bottom.

Sorry, it was the best I could come up with on short notice. :smt065

For the most part, I leave these rather contentious threads behind, but I will offer one piece of sage wisdom regarding this particular post "It seems that your plea for help/advice indicates a desire to NOT upset these people or lay down the law to them. Sometimes people (even those you care a...

I dove bio-fins originally and switched to jets because if everyone else was doing it, it must be right... and it was.

Sorry I could only stay for the one dive. Unfortunately I couldn't enjoy the beer goggles and great BBQ... maybe next time. Good people, good diving, great time. Thanks again. :salute:

Re: Club Dive! Club Dive! Club Dive!

I didn't hear anyone pipe in about the bananas. However, they are a great pre-dive meal, so I'll be bringing some bananas and granola bars. I will not be around for the afternoon session, so I thought I'd bring breakfast. You must however, supply your own coffee.

Re: Club Dive! Club Dive! Club Dive!

I just found out that my prior engagement that day doesn't start until 1:30, so I can come, at least for a little while anyway. :occasion5: Since no one has responded to this thread recently, I thought I'd give it a bump. How about y'all respond with an "I'm in!" :naka: and I'll know who I...
