Dang it!! I have a dentist appointment at 1 PM. I have already rescheduled once when we dove @ T.T.N.! I guess that will teach me going to the dentist on my day off. Hope you have a great dive. Bob

CoCo View Resort questions
Has anyone been to this resort in Roatan? My wife and I want a dive vacation. No site seeing, no shopping, no shows and schedules. I just want to dive. When the boat dives are done for the day, I want to shore dive at the resort. CoCo View seems to best fit our wish list. We are looking at going lat...

We had a great day diving with Mike on the Mark V! Very comfortable boat. We dove Pt Defiance North wall and then moved over to Z's Reef. Z's was a great dive, lot's of stuff to see on the wall. We will definitely dive with Porthole again. Bob

Here is a good link from ScubaBoard on how to install the rings. http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/exposure-suits/192634-how-install-dry-gloves-5-minutes-picture-heavy.html Mine just arrived in the mail and I will dive them this weekend. The rings arrived within 3 work days from when I ordered them. ...

Great video Tom! I have a crazy question, I wonder if there is a way to determine the size of the Octo, based on the size of the suction cups?

Another vote for the Element. We have an '07 and really like the car. It was originally purchased as a dog friendly car, however it makes a fantastic dive vehicle. Gas mileage is good on the road, but in town is a disappointment. Bob

Redondo 11-02 about 2pm. We waited in the car for about half an hour for a rain and wind squall to pass. When we dropped there was a crud layer from the wind, but wasn't bad at all. Below was 20+ vis and the temp was 50. There was a strong current on the surface, but was very manageable below 30 ft....

Re: Where to live in PNW?
I have lived in Everett, Marysville and now Tacoma. I was worried about Tacoma before we moved here because of it's reputation. There are definitely some areas to stay away from, but we really like it here. The neighborhood we live in is very quiet and safe. It is established with streets that run n...

It looks like my wife and I will be able to make it over for a couple of dives on Saturday. We waited to post because we were unsure of our schedule. Anything that needs to be brought for the BBQ? We were thinking about bringing a great desert cake. What about paper plates and utensils, all covered?...

Fox Island West Wall 10/18
Went to West Wall this afternoon with my wife and 2 others and we had a great dive! We dropped about 2pm and had about 10 ft. visibility. We ended up getting a little to deep and missed the wall on the first try. Moved up to 45-50 and doubled back onto the wall. Sadly, all of the GPO dens were empty...

A friend and I also dove Les Davis on Friday. We arrived at the parking lot at around 11:30. Had a great dive as well! I love Les Davis, maybe because it's less than 10 minutes from my house. We are fortunate indeed to have the Sound so close. I did see a GPO for the first time at L.D. Down for over...

Re: Drysuit Zipper maintenance
While I was grabbing tanks the other night, I mentioned to Wally at Tacoma Scuba that I needed to replace the neck seal on my Wife's drysuit. Within 5 minutes, Wally had the old neck seal off and was busy prepping the new seal! We then had to run home and get the dog, it's wonderful living 5 minutes...
