Monday 8/26 Seattle-ish Dive?

Got a full tank I need to return tomorrow used or not. Anyone interested in a shore dive tomorrow at Alki, Redondo, Edmonds, or wherever? Could do any time early morning to afternoon, so long as we wrap by 4:00PM.

Any chance there will be a Bubbles and Suds this Wednesday, 5/15? If so, would love to join.

Dive Sunday 5/19 Morning?

I'm a novice open water diver looking to get out this Sunday AM/early afternoon. Happy to drive up to an hour or more for somewhere with awesome critters. Also down for Redondo or Edmonds. I'm a reasonably nice 39 year old guy who lives near Golden Gardens and runs ZooBorns. Laura James can vouch fo...

Dry Suit and Advanced Open Water Cert 9/7, 13 and 14

I set up a private lesson with Silent World in Bellevue (Walker Linna) for this Friday (9/7) and next Thursday and Friday (13-14). The dates were different initially but I shuffled. I would have done a group lesson but all the scheduled classes I saw at dive schools didn't line up with my schedule. ...

Re: Question about inviting folks to dive classes

Also should I post this somewhere else or is Introductions the best spot to do so?

and @rcontrera - I would have preferred a group class but don't have a free weekend for months other than this one so decided to go for it! The plus side is we can dive cooler places like Whidbey :)

Thanks again all

Re: Question about inviting folks to dive classes

Thanks Laura! Sorry for the delay everyone. Fell off the map on a family vacation but coming back up for air now. Dive Shop is Silent World out of Bellevue. Instructor is Walker Linna. Dry suit class 1 - Would be Friday the 8th at 1pm or so in Bellevue. This is optional. Advanced Open Water - Day 1 ...

Question about inviting folks to dive classes

I signed up for private AOWD certification classes 9/7 and 9/8 but it would be considerably more affordable (and more fun) if 1-3 additional people wanted to join. Is there a forum in which it would be appropriate to post that in? I would have gone with a group class but couldn't find any scheduled ...

Long Overdue! Nudis, nudis, nudis

Hi All, My name is Andrew Bleiman and I'm a recent OWD. I've done some marine wildlife conservation work in the area and co-founded ZooBorns.com. I'm a big fan of inverts, primarily nudibranchs, weird crustaceans and siphonophores. I'm on inaturalist at https://www.inaturalist.org/people/zooillogix ...
