That is a real bummer. I corresponded with him a few times regarding site info. He was always happy to help out. Great website and wealth of knowledge.

Sund Rock was pretty awesome. I'd guess 30'. Good time to go to the Hood if you can make it. Before the rivers / rain muck it up.

Hey Jess,
Looks like we're doing Sund today. If you can't make it out to the hood let's schedule a dive weekend after next and I'll bring those F1's up.

Re: In Search Of A Single Hollis F1 Yellow Tip
Hey Jess, Sorry for the delayed response. I got busy at work and haven't been checking NWDC. I may be up there diving tomorrow. I have to meet up with my buddy in the morning and see where he wants to go. Either Hood Canal or PS. I'll PM you and see if you want to meet up. If not tomorrow maybe a co...

The SiTech dry gloves can be put on any suit with latex wrist seals. Just order latex wrist seals.

Re: Is there a drysuit with attached boots and rings?
I also have the Bare Techdry with the Sitech gloves. I really love it. I have the attached boots, a neoprene neck seal and pockets on both thighs. My last suit had a latex neck seal and neoprene socks that I used DUI rock boots with. My feet were always freezing. The attached boots keep my feet way ...

Yes! One thing you'll see down here that you don't see in Puget Sound is monkeyface prickelbacks. Should be the official fish of Oregon.

Re: Diving around Portland / Vancouver?
Diving near Portland is pretty non-existent. Most people do weekend trips up to the sound. The closest place to just get wet is Klineline Pond or Battleground Lake in Vancouver or Lake Merwin east of Woodland, WA. The closest salt water is in Garibaldi out on the coast about an hour and 45 minutes a...

Dive tomorrow morning. 11/29
Hey Folks,
I had some dive plans fall through for tomorrow morning and am now up in the Seattle area with a couple of HP100s of delicious air and no one to dive with. Anyone want to go? I'm down for anywhere from Seattle to Tacoma. Maybe even up to Edmonds?

I didn't know Lynn well but had met her a few times at dive sites and read her posts a ton. She was always very friendly and I admired her dedication to helping everyone out. It's very sad that she's gone. She was a good one.

I'm in. I'll have room for two more divers. Unless Spatman can actually make it, then I'll have room for one more. But then, he'll probably cancel at the last minute because of "a cold" that requires him to stay home and drink beer....Yeah, I should have room for at least two more divers. ...

It's too bad that thing lived from an egg to that size against pretty staggering odds to be killed by some dumbshit so he could drive around with it in his truck trying to look tough. In my opinion anyway.

That's interesting. Thanks for posting. I used to live down there and had no idea there was any part of the bay that was 217' deep. I always thought the whole thing was 25' deep and they just dredged shipping lanes in it.

I'll take people out to the coast for free btw. They just have to show up and roll with the conditions, which can be a little unpredictable, especially in spring. Donations are accepted though
