Faber LP95
I've got a Faber LP95 that is due for hydro and VIP. I really don't need this tank and would rather have an AL80 3000psi with DIN valve. The Faber is convertible valve BTW. I'll trade straight across for an 80 with current inspections or sell the 95 for $150 as is. It had plus rating on the recently...

Re: Note from Washington Scuba Alliance
Do you have a link for info on the artificial reef layout? I dive the park once in a while. Is it going to be by the boat launch or off the other beach? Boat launch is a shorter walk for divers but I could see them going to the other beach for safety. This is my backyard almost. I'd like to know mor...

Re: Fort Flagler RIP
How sad. This was on my bucket list for places to drive and dive with my camper. Not sure it is worth the trip now. You probably saved me some money.
Thanks for the post,

Re: Tanks for Sale
The doubles were purchased by me for use as singles. I doubled them up shortly after. The bands and valves are OMS. The valves assy is the model which allows the center post to be swiveled. Valves and bands were new when I purchased them too. They are XS scuba tanks. 20131115-_MG_4734.jpg 20131115-_...

Tanks for Sale
2 Steel 100's both recent VIP and current Hydro. They show some mileage on the outside but are still good tanks. $150/each. They have 32% in them now so if you don't have a Nitrox card to show me, I'll have to drain them. If it's an issue, I'll dive them and refill with air for you. 1set doubles ste...

Canon SD990/Ike housings 4sale
I have a Canon SD990 14.1mp(black if it matters underwater?) It comes with 3 batteries of varying reliability. I have them marked good, better, & best. Also includes the charger & a 2GB memory card. The housings are both Ikelite. Long story On why I ended up with 2. Lets just say there used ...

Re: Diver Found at Skyline
I work nightshift now & spent my precious sleep time at Evergreen Dive services saturday am trying in vain to win something. At least I got a good deal on a Jacket that I have been eyeballing for a while & I picked up a reel for my kayak. I got 4hrs sleep that day & headed back off to wo...

Re: Diver Found at Skyline
Bring it Bassman. Supposed to be some other southenders coming down that day. You have to do the shore dive to see the good stuff. Bring a big tank or your best SAC-you"ll want the bottom time.

Re: Mukilteo 4/12/11 60 Second Report
To each his own on giving up stills. I'll admit that videos are fun to watch but good video requires allot of work after the shoot that I personally dont have time for & I think the 1 challenge that is shared between stills & video is that if the raw footage isnt good, you can only edit it s...

And you were going to say screw it & stay home! It was a real nice dive. I got home & passed out having only slept about 6hrs in the last 48-3rd shift sucks! I'm alive now & sort of so of coherent so I will try to get some pics & narration up before the night is over. Will probably b...

Re: Camano Island
Done Cama beach & access makes it just not worth it. I do Camano Island state park maybe 10 times a year. I like the access there since you can practically park on the beach & in the summer when the kelp is in bloom, the diving can actually be pretty awesome. You need to plan slack. Current ...

Re: Interesting article on deep-water "Artificial reefs"
There are many requirements to establish an artificial reef & expect it to thrive. Generally a brisk current across said Reef is a must for providing nutrients to any potential inhabitants among other things. Water quality, ambient light, & the materials chosen for this purpose are a few oth...

Re: Sidemount experiment
Yep, you've done a pretty nice job putting together. Diving with one tank just scares the hell out of me-can't do it myself. Your wing looks very streamlined-I like it. I have the angel wings going on on my setup but I dont really have a singles size wing to play with. By the way, I put togeter 2 SS...

Re: Sidemount experiment
The tanks should be clipped to armpit Drings, not on the shoulder. The bungies keep the tops of the tanks tucked close into you. I hate aluminum tanks to begin with & only dive AL80's when I need ALLOT of deco gas & then it is in conjunction with a set of steel doubles. Steel 100's would dro...

Need info on Houston Texas
I have to go to Houston for some work related training. It looks way too close to water not to take some dive gear. Does anyone have recomendations for divesites or contacts in that area that might hook me up. I'd be in for 1, maybe 2 days of diving & it would make me real happy to get some doub...

I was sneaking around in your back yard again Rich. I only got one long dive in but the diversity never lets me down. No prize photos here but you get an idea of the abundant selection. I am not sure if this 1st one is a Dall's Dendronotid or a Multicolor Dendronotid. Maybe you can help me out. Port...
