Re: Saturday April 20th Redondo Clean up dive, meet at 8am

Just for my understanding.. High tide is at 5.49 AM at 11.8 feet and low is at 12:26 PM at -0.92 feet. Isn't 8:30 splash down right in middle of the crazy tide?

Re: Saltwater Park on 4/20

Thanks for the details. The current plan is to get into the water at 11:45 AM (low tide is at 12:26 PM) and use the current to get back to shore. However, I will take a rain-check as it can be a long walk and a long swim.

Saltwater Park on 4/20

The saltwater park will be open to all visitors on 4/20 and there is no need for a discovery pass. I will be diving with another group, but wanted to post here for others who might be interested.

I just got a Yukon II and was planning on getting these too? @Captn - Are these incompatible with zip seals? @finnegan - Which ...

Re: Redondo Beach Cleanup dive Sat 4/06/2019, meet @ 10:30 am

I would love to join.. but this will be my first dive with a dry suit and in Seattle. I need to rent my tank and weights - 1 tank or 2 tanks? It would be great if someone can also help me adjust the trim and figure out the right weight for me

Hello to PNW!!

Hi Everyone, I moved to Seattle 18 months ago, but have been reluctant to get into the cold waters. Finally decided to take the plunge and got myself certified last week. I have been certified for last 15 years, but have been actively diving in the last 5 years, all of it in warm tropical waters. No...
