Re: Steramine anyone?

Thanks Dave.

I'm trying to order a bottle off of Amazon, but it must be a controlled substance, as the website won't allow delivery to the house or to an Amazon box. Is there a local resource where I can buy a bottle?

Re: Welcome to the UW Photography Forum (Video Welcome)

We dove off an old WWII trainer, called the Valiant located near Kirkland in about 110' of water. I learned that my strobes should have been pointing towards the objects, as opposed to slightly angled outwards as I do for macro. Shading and turbidity were pretty bad. Visibility wasn't that great eit...

Re: Arm to strobe length maximum distance

Thanks for the reply, I'm interested in determining how long I'll need in order to capture a large wreck in tropical waters. The Florida Keys for example. They have 50' visibility, down to 100' on average. My arms extend from their posts to the strobe ball, about 20". I have a wide-angle dome l...

Arm to strobe length maximum distance

Is there a maximum armature length based upon the camera lens size? I'm trying to determine how long my arms should be in relation to the maximum focal length for my camera. I noticed that Derek has very long arms on his rig, whereas mine is rather short by comparison. Is there some formula to deter...

Thanks to Eric, Jess and Derek, I finally was able to find my Lumpsucker. Unfortunately, my buoyancy decided to go elsewhere, and my strobes weren't right. I'll do better next time.

Well, I finally got my lumpsucker, but my strobes were all wrong and had trouble with my buoyancy. Thanks to Eric, I now know how to look for them.

Re: ThThTh 11/11

Hi everyone, I think you're talking about me :)

lumpies are my white whale!

Derek said to meetup at Redondo around 6:30, right? I'll be there. I'm bringing a couple of friends too.

I drive a white F-150 with a goofy Scuba diver sticker on the tailgate.

See you tonight.
