If you're going to be diving somewhere (Sund Rock, Pt. Whitney, Octopus Hole) around then and wouldn't mind a hanger-on, let me know!

I don't see gloves on that list. ;-) Glad you like diving in a wetsuit or semi-dry! Most of us end up getting a drysuit and dry gloves eventually. Living in Everett you're nearly on the doorstep of Edmonds Underwater Park, probably the best place locally to practice diving. No current, not much wave action, lots of critters, oodles of shallow areas, all good.
