Eric and I played last night. I fixed the board...the last players must of been narced.

SWSP has a couple of things for shore divers to remember...

1. You will have a long walk or long swim, depending on the tide.

2. Showers are working but they will turn them off in the winter.

3. The park is only open from 830am-830pm. The ranger WILL throw you out.

I have been diving about once a week at SWSP. I want to document the changes that are occuring and to get to know the reef. I have dove on all 3 reefs and spend a lot of time going through and getting to know where things are. If you haven't been there, it is worth the PITA surface swim/walk to get ...

All the buoys are gone now. Boaters were tying up to them. I talked to a ranger tonight and he said that they need to get back out and re-attach them, but the impression he gave me, they were not in a hurry to do so. It is really sad...It would suck for people to be illegally fishing in the park.

I would call and talk to Van at Orca Scuba in Wenatchee. That would be your closest air fill and he can give you the full 411 on where and how to best dive the lake.

We had a great turnout and was a lot of fun. I dove with Ellyn, one of our divemasters. We did a very simple profile, just followed the line down and we dove out to the geodome. In all the years I have dove at Redondo, I have never seen so many ratfish. At one point, we had 6 following our light aro...

Wanted to invite everyone to welcome summer by a evening dive at Redondo. We will meet at 10pm in the parking lot and will hopefully be underwater by 1045pm...the official start to summer.

It has been about 10-12 years since I have been down there but the diving and snorkeling are very limited. The beaches are beautiful in front of the resorts and are great to walk on. The water is a bit rough for swimming. It is a beautiful place and very romantic. :luv:
