I'd go with the gun, pole spears are a major pain.

After seeing some charts I see that it is Willow Island we were looking at. ur right. I don't think I've ever dove Willow Island, in general I avoid the interior of the San Juans, its dang muddy. San Juan channel being the notable exception. Muddy? As in muddy botom or muddy vis? Seems as though tha...

Blakely Island
Has anybody dove the walls around Blakely Island? My buddy and I dove Rosario wall last Sat. and on the way back we started to wonder about how diving some the walls would be. We are thinking about doing a live boat dive off the west side of this ( little) island that's right beside Blakely. :calvin...

I wear the Artics year round, only in the summer they can get a little too warm. Course I'm wearing them under an Apollo neoprene suit so I do have a bit more insulation than a shell suit.

Re: Humbolt off Sekui
I find it ponderable that what we all are finding so unusual might very well have been commonplace back in the days of 150 lb salmonm, 500 lb octo's and basking sharks ... go back 100 or even just 60 years ago and you probably wouldn't even recognize the sound under water. Could it be that the cons...
