Re: Where should I go?

Cozumel air fair is pretty cheap right now. No mantas but they have seasonal whale sharks. The playa area is really being developed so you can find some great deals.

PS I haven't seen any sand fleas

Re: New 12MP 10X Zoom Super-Thin Casio Announced

Cardiver,TomNic and Calvin I have seen Tom, Ron and Bills pics with your Casios. They are great. My question is about the lens. This new camera has a wide angle feature. How much difference is there between the old and new lens. Do you think the lens will have an impact on whether or not they produc...

Are you diving tommorrow also? I was planning on going solo at Sund Rock and taking my camera. If you want to get wet on the South Sound side in the morning let me know. I hear the viz was 40 feet on Pac Adventure today.

Re: Mystery Fish

Two great sources of info for fish ID are Andy Lamb and Keith Clements. Andy has written multiple books and writes an article each month for the Northwest Dive News that identifies mystery critters. Keith has a great web site with a lot of local pics and dive site reviews. His site is Emerald Diving...

Re: DIW and Titlow! Sun, May 17th

Thanks to everyone!! I had two great dives. The playful wolfie at DIW was great. Of course I made the decision to NOT take my camera on that dive. There would have been some great pictures. Raptor was a great tour guide. Titlow was fun and relaxing. It was nice to meet Wyler Bear and Valerie. Titlow...

I will be in a green Toyo Tacoma. Come up and say hi. Maybe we can try to put something together for another dive day.

Re: Backup light suggestions

I have an Intova Back-up light. Its a good light. If there is a flaw its the design of the switch. With thick gloves and no viz the switch can be a little difficult. Overall its a good light.

Re: Open Water training standards-split from "fatality at Sund R

This recent incident sounds similar to others over the years. I have always wondered how much "Cold Water" plays into an incident like this.

Has there ever been talk by any of the agencies of changing the standards for cold vs warm water divers?
