Re: Edmonds Underwater Park Nov 16 or 17

I guess the weather keeps changing I was hoping for some sunshine on Saturday but now it doesn't look like. So ohopdiver as you mention Sunday is now a better day then Saturday.

Re: Edmonds Underwater Park Nov 16 or 17

Hi! Is there room for a third diver or you would rather keep things simple? If you don't mind a third diver I would rather dive on Saturday, the weather is supposed to be better than Sunday. I dove Edmonds few times and my knowledge of this site is a bit limited. It is a large area and I am wonderin...

Crescent Gunnel?

Sometimes Crescent Gunnels still confuse me. I cannot see a 'proper' crescent on this individual but I am pretty sure that it is not a saddleback, pen point, longfin or rockweed...So what's left? Crescent Gunnel?

Owl Spirit Cafe. The pork carnitas burrito was FABULOUS, although ridiculously huge. Interesting that those are, in fact, Onchidoris eggs. I remember a year or so ago in Monterey, they had a huge infestation of small white barnacles that grew all over everything -- and shortly thereafter, they had ...

Re: Yesterday at Pt. Townsend

It was a great dive -- I have yet to have a dive there that was unsatisfying. One of the things that fascinated me on this one can be seen in the first of Bob's crab photographs. There were entire large boulders thickly coated with nudibranch eggs -- big, thick ribbons of white eggs, the kind I nor...

Thanks for the picture Lynne! Great Shaggy Mouse portrait! I did see you two across the parking lot when you came out of the water after your first dive. Chris and I were just about to splash so in we went. If you wanted to see Cabies then the milky way trail is the place. Every third or fourth milk crate had a Cabie on eggs and they were pissed! I went to...

Re: Yesterday at Pt. Townsend

Yes it's a nice dive site because you can always find something interesting to see either at the Barge or shallower in the eel grass bed. It can be a reef or muck dive. There are other sites in Port Townsend that I would like to explore: the pilings and artificial reef at Fort Warden Science Center ...
