Re: In Memoriam: Lynne Flaherty (LCF, TSandM)

Lynne, you will be missed.

Peter, you have my deepest sympathies.

To all, be safe and hug your loved ones. I hate these kind of reminders that life is too damn short.

+1 for Slipstreams. I use them here (because Jet Fins don't have a foot pocket small enough for me) and tropical.

And thanks Kelly - I am very familiar with Tacoma Scuba's wonderful Nitrox punch card. A sweet deal! In fact I have one in my wallet. :nutty:
And to that, I give you your avatar. :tomnic:

Re: Tire Gas and Bottle Hunting Are Killing Me

People still dive on plain air?!? I used to do 2 dives on air and then need a nap. I got certified for Nitrox and never looked back.

Re: New Book on the Lake Crescent Warren Case

With the publishing of this book I suspect that there will once again be a great deal of interest in diving the "Warren Car" by a new generation of divers. Three things: 1) It is not, repeat NOT, at recreational depths. This is a dive for trained Tech divers using appropriate gasses and e...

Doesn't a closed fishery mean they can't be harvested? Or am I not understanding the term correctly?

History of octo protected status in Hood Canal? NHZ

Does anyone know WHY the GPO is completely protected in Hood Canal? Is it because of the low oxygen events?

Please note that I've labeled this as No Hijack Zone please. Thank you!

Re: Seacrest underwater harvest protection

Before anyone gets too deep into these efforts, I want to make it clear that there is a VERY big coordinated effort going on internally right now to make this happen. Lots of people are working hard to present a clear and concise plan, and I'm confident we can get results very soon. We should be ab...

Re: Pony bottle mounting

I sling my AL30 using standard stage rigging and attach my camera to my right shoulder D-ring. Getting in and out (trying to use handrails, putting on fins, etc) can sometimes be a bit of a CF, but I haven't had an issue once in the water and in trim.
