yes we are going on a cruize to western caribbean in November. cayman, cozumel, belize, roatan. im leaning towards cayman instead of cozumel. thanks for all the info...keep it coming

It looks like in the 4th photo that the GPO is being touched with neoprene glove on... i was told that this is unhealthy for the octo. Can anyone that knows a lot about octos confirm this?

the troll has moved a little south west of its old location. it is still down there in about 120 fsw. as far as the lines to the troll, they are still there just tangled and zig zag'd and will end up at the troll if you follow it.

the pump didnt have the power to push it and I I was getting just a trickle. I could prolly use the smaller hose but the pump I am running will not handle much resistance, but I may look into that. Losing a half inch on a hose shouldnt create too much resistance. what pump do you have? How many GPH...

Norris- try using a low flow shower head and after the hose goes through the side of cooler, use 1/2 inch hose to the shower head. This should bump up your run time. Do you have a power switch in-line?

I got my pump at West Marine, it is rated at 600 GPH. It was a little more than 14.++ but i don't know what the cheaper one is rated for output. The cooler is somewhere between 8-10 gallons... not exactly sure.
