I say it has to be a real dive too.. At least 15 minutes and at least below 20 fsw or it doesn't count..

Fresh water diving is great: you don't have to rinse your gear, baby!!! A quick rinse is still advised.. The water is filled with minerals that can leave a deposit on your gear if not rinsed.
