Re: Rebreathers.....

what an incredibly amusing thread to read. So did Mr. Brown ever get a rebreather? Nope.... If this thread is so amusing and then why not just read it rather than resurrecting it from the dead can you imagine if somebody posted on the Octo thread that brought this board to national attention... Eve...

Re: OLED Bottom Timer

Finally got to use it at Lake Crescent. In the shallows with a lot of light, it wasnt view-able as had a reflective screen saver which made it worse. Once deeper, worked like a boss. No change in scooter weighting either.

OLED Bottom Timer

I lamented when my Liquivision Xen screen went dim (as apparently they all do eventually), as I had it mounted on my scooter, and it was nice to track depth without having to look at my wrist mounted petrel all the time. Since I tend to dive in Stygian darkness (well below recreational depths) I wan...

It'd be interesting to know what the actual process is now, will they have someone on entry throughout the day? It sounds so?

Re: Attached Drysuit Boots Cause Floaty Feet?

You went from a nice form fitting drysuit, to one that isnt and traps more air in places. You'll need to experiment with tank placement and lead to get balanced out.

Re: Scuba Show this weekend?

The scubajet was on interesting toy, but expensive and no real facts on it, like an actual depth rating, and runtimes besides just sayin an hour with nomention of configuration, etc. If they gave us a loaner, we'd runit throughthe paces, but I'm not gonna do that for them an pay 2k to do it.

Re: Masterline Oxygen Booster for Sale

the stand isnt a bad idea in thinking about it, if I can attach and detach to the bench perhaps, thus move it out of the way, or even into the cuddy if needed

Re: Masterline Oxygen Booster for Sale

I've got to pass on this for a couple of reasons. 1> Its too heavy, where I need to put it, in the shack would need supported, and I have no way to get under there now.(Mistake made when had them putting the shack in, theres no additional support across like 16ft, so I keep heavy stuff off of that a...
