I have had both and will stick with the shell suit, its lighter, dries faster if it gets wet inside, usuallly packs smaller, and you can vary the thermal protection with different levels undergarments. Plus its usually easier to suit up in a shell suit, just my .02cents

Keep a eye on Ebay, i pocked up a set of USIA exotherm 3 for under $40 plus shipping. Also picked up a set for girlfriend for under $30 plus shipping. Not a set of weezles but with a thin underlayer it's not bad.

some plates will not take a 3/8 bolt (hammerhead) so you have to drill out the holes to accept the 3/8 bolt.

I hate it when I am the free entertainment lol, althought I love to laugh at others when they provide it.

Remember to remove the straps at the back of the boat before launching the boat lol, done that one a few times.

Nice report, sucks about youre dive light though. Glad to see that some else spent the weekend diving on the cheap lol, Sabre Rider, our girlfriends and myself spent the weekend in Garibaldi OR diving the coast and thank goodness we had a lil better weather, (and his motorhome lol).

Had a few people wondering how cheap u could get into a system, well got my rixx compressor running and pumping air, so far it has not been to bad $$ I am into the system for just over $1300.
