The Hood Canal O2 is so low, that I use a bike lock to prevent my O2 deco bottle from being stolen on a dive.

I would love to do this as well!!! Unfortunately, Tue & Wed don't work for me due to standing comitments on those days. I would be available, Thur or Friday Oct 21 or 22 is at all doable.

Can you tell us a little about his diving background? How much does he dive, has he been diving recently, does he have his own gear, etc... This info would be helpful in pointing you in the right direction and finding a dive buddy for him up here.

Yeah, I guess sturgeon poachers do kind of look like bearded ratfish. The interesting thing is that I didn't see any actual ratfish. I am just so used to seeing them under pilings on night dives. Thanks for the report. I've been up to Winter Harbor a few times on a sail boat and always thought that the diving there must be fantastic. Glad to hear that indeed it was.... it is now officially on my scuba bucket list!
