Re: Dive bin
I have two bins, one for my drysuit, light, and gauges that goes in my trunk. It is made of a rigid clear plastic that is brittle and I don't recommend. I only use it because it can fit on top of a set of double 100s in my trunk. The other bin is for everything else - it's a dark blue rubbermaid bin...

Selling DUI Men's CF200 SOLD
Hey NWDCers, I'm selling my backup suit, a DUI CF200, to fund some extensive diving this winter. This suit has essentially every option available - two large DUI pockets, Zipseals on the neck and wrists, cloverleaf crotchpad, CF200 kneepads, turbosoles with reinforced heels, and a Halcyon balanced P...

Re: Pockets, SMB, reels.
I am still a little confused on SMB's and how they inflate. With the "oral" inflate it appears there is a straw like tube you with a one way valve. Is that correct? Then I keep seeing ones that say they use LP inflator. So does that mean you disconnect your inflater hose (dry suit or wing...

Re: WWW - 7/25/2012
Hey all, Sorry to bust in here, but we were planning on hitting the old I-90 bridge for a bit of a change of pace and to take advantage of warmer water and good lake vis. Time is the same as above, but we'll be meeting under the new I-90 bridge. The highlight of the dive is a big section of the old ...

Luxfer Al 80 N - $75
So I bought a tank without looking at it closely enough. It's not your normal al80, it's a neutral 80 meaning it will never go positive like a normal aluminum tank. While it's not useful for a stage (what I intended it for) it would make a decent inexpensive tank for shallow singles diving. Fresh vi...

The answer is no, no it does not.

If you would like to come out some time, just let me know! Not everyone can make our Wednesday dives. There are a number of us that like diving with people that are interested in further training. I'm sure more people will chime in.

Looking for a Luxfer S80N and Al40s
Hello everyone, If anyone out there has a luxfer S80N (also known as a neutral 80), send me a PM. I'm trying to track one down. They have a 3300 fill pressure and are neutral even when empty. They make poor stage bottles (due to their weight) compared to standard SO80 or S80 luxfers, so let me know ...

...TLS - less warm, fairly durable, a nice fit is not restrictive, very light (3lb)... Are you sure this is correct? I was under the impression that the TLS was closer to 7lbs . I will echo a lot of your other advice though. Most of my dives have been done on my CF200. It's a good suit, but conside...

NWUE Wedneday Dive - Everybody Welcome
We're having our weekly Wednesday evening dive at Alki Cove 2 . Meet time is 6:30 , but there will be some people around earlier as well. NWUE is a loose organization of team-oriented divers in the Seattle area - people that are enthusiastic about everything from caves to shallow reefs to deep wreck...

Re: Can lights
The new Dive Xtra's X-Ray Mk1 caught my eye. Its not a can, but a flat lipo battery pack. Fingerman handle or goodman, and I like the clip arrangement. But 1100$ ( in that range), is a big chunk of change. I think the X-Ray is in the $2000 range, but it does have some cool features. I can't wait to...

One guy is ahead of you both, I'll let you know if it falls through. These are somewhere between the XL jetfins and the NEW XXL jets (not the old tunnel-sized ones). They fit my size 11 turbosoled feet well.
