Several good dives-Ansell Point, Skyline Wall, Keystone

Just finished several good dives last week just to add a little variety to the local dives I usually do. Ansell Point which is just outside West Vancouver, BC. We had 70' viz on a large (wide) wall that goes to 300 fsw or so. In addition to the great diving we observed a harbor seal beating the crap...

I see them (dogfish) mainly in late summer. I see them more at night but in the daytime as well. In particular I've seen them at 3 Tree N. in the daytime. You will have more luck at night with any shark, particular the Sixgill. As has been posted go to 100+ feet, at night, anywhere there is a steepe...

Ebb: water going out It's not always obvious which is which depending on the individual location but look a the graphic representation in the ...

Charles, I just saw your post after I posted. Regarding Sunrise basically that's one site where the corrections in Northwest Shore Dives is incorrect. The key to that one is to look for the current station at Gig Harbor. If doing as a shore dive, get into the water about 20 minutes before slack as i...

OK, class, please be seated. Look up (online or in a book) Admiralty Inlet and you will see that slack before flood this evening occurs at 7:07pm. Look at the correction for Edmonds Oil Dock for slack before flood and you will see that it is - :10 therefore slack would be 6:57pm. In general with sit...

My buddy found a drysuit pocket at Cove 2 last night around 6:30pm or so. Describe it and it's yours.

Re: about the Seacrest boundary line ...

In light of yesterday's tragic accident ... Diving the boundary rope from Cove2 to Cove 3 keeps you deep for a long time. Many folks can't make it on a recreationally-sized tank of air ... and most of those who can will be cutting their reserves short. Unless you've been trained for deep diving, pl...

I can't picture this. Are you talking about having a 30 cu ft tank swinging from the back of your BC?

I don't know how well they rinse it. To solve the problem I think you would need to remove the pin after every dive. I'll ask Dave D tonight. Dave, Gray, and I are diving the Mukilteo Oil dock for crab around 8pm, your welcome to join us. I'll show you my pin tonight Jeff. You have to remove the pi...
