Re: the EAN screen disappeared from my Cochran EMC-16 - how do I get it back?

The best way to fix a Cochran is to replace it with a computer that works.

"It was for me at the time" pretty well sums it up. I'll vouch for the condition of any gear Mav is selling. We used to dive together. He takes good care of it.

Re: In Memoriam: Lynne Flaherty (LCF, TSandM)

I'm gutted. Lynne was special. I first "met" her on Scubaboard, and then on NWDC a bit later. It was 2006-2007, during the years of a lot of friction between the DIR community and everyone else. We were on opposite sides of that (stupid) fence, and we used to argue about nuances and arcane...

Re: Thank You Josh Smith

I would like to take this opportunity to honor and express our collective gratitude to Joshua Smith aka “Nailer99” for his many years of service as a Northwest Dive Club Moderator. Josh has just concluded his (I think) third tour of duty as a Mod, and has probably spent more time in that role, and ...

Re: Mukilteo Oil Dock Slated For Death in Spring 2015

Losing the Oil dock sucks, but being able to scooter from the silver cloud (t-dock) around to the lighthouse park will be pretty cool.... My thought as well. Aside from curent, will this actually be possible? I find it hard to believe that there won't be some restriction or ordinance or something t...

Re: CCR

There's a whole lot of science out there regarding scrubber duration. It's one area that I'm super-duper conservative about. C02 scares the crap out of me. The meg axial, which I dive, is officially rated for 3 hours in cold water, but most guys I know will take it to 4, which is probably fine- but ...

Fascinating- so, you say these impressions continue into deeper water? Like, how deep? I can't help but think of pranks like crop circles when I see something like this, but it seems too elaborate....

Finally diving the knot. Any words of advice from those that have been there? Debating if I want to do a little deco or not. Looking at doing dubs or not. So I'm curious if anyone has personally reviewed this, or know of someone who has. The many features and being upgradable plus the price is a selling factor for me. Maybe some news on it? I've already completed an extensive search on this product and want to know if anyone on this board has experie...

Not only is our miserable traffic worse than usual- but OMG it's HOT. I am NOT into it- I felt like I was about to pass out twice last summer gearing up for dives- I pledged not to do the same thing this year. One trick I found is that I'm warm enough in my CF200 to do a rec dive without undergarmen...
