I believe they met at MMM, which makes this both the first NWDC and the first MMM marriage (MMMM).

Re: MMM...&M? 8-8-11 Recap
The impressive part was watching Mr. chicken legs kneel down in the parking lot after the dive in double 119s to put a ring on her finger.
Huge congrats to two of my favorite dive buddies!

Re: MMM 8/8/11
Bad news - not enough coffee on board when I left for work this morning :coffee: . I managed to leave my light sitting on the charger. If the $hI! doesn't hit the fan at work, I should be able to sneak home and get it, but I probably won't be able stop by the shop to get tanks filled with gas to go...

Re: 9mm composite?
There's one in Everett that I know of and one in Arlington. Never been to the one in Woodinville. http://beegc.org/samsgsr/samsgsr.html Sam's gun club is in Everett. They have a decent selection of 9mm stuff. $12 for a multipe gun rental but you have to purchase the ammo from them. If you're looking...

Re: 9mm composite?
I'm sure you'll get some offers but in case you don't, two of the gun ranges near me have a pass for like $25 or so that will let you shoot as many of their rental pistols as you like. Good way to compare side by side. All I have right now is a 357 mag revolver. But I'm looking hard at some of the s...

Re: $225 to $250 for a neck seal?
I watched Wally take more than "2 to 2.5 hrs tops" on a neoprene neck seal. Are you saying he's not experience or doing something correctly? What is a service technician's time worth? What should be the going rate? These people work on your life support equipment, they rebuild your regs, ...

Re: $225 to $250 for a neck seal?
1. I believe anyone should charge whatever the heck they think their product/time/service it worth 2. I've never paid anywhere near those prices (tops was $115 I think) 3. The only way I would pay that kind of money is in an emergency 4. If I hear about Silent World going out of business I won't be ...

Re: What cylinder do you dive, and why?
I own 4 hp steel worthington tanks 2x100, 119,130 and a set of hp100s and 119s. When I took my first steps into tech diving I started diving doubles on every dive, both to get a good "feel" for them , as well as for the simplicity of not switching tanks between rec dives. Now that I probab...

Re: RIB Advice
Thanks guys, so far the I've just laid the scuba rigs in the bottom with neporene lifevests wrapped around them. It works fairly well until you hit a really big wave. Then it would be nice to have things strapped down. As far as the radio goes, I think I'll just go with a handheld unit for the time ...

Well, I found a guy who worked at achilles for 17 years and has his own business now to help me with some of the patchwork. Looks like a good deal on a dive boat
2 stroke OB not worth much nowadays. PVC fabric tubes should be checked for sun damage. Its a money pit, but maybe less of a money pit than average. How do you know it's PVC? Alot of the commercial grade zodiacs were made from hypalon. Two strokes are less desirable than four strokes for sure, but ...

Nice size, decent power, light to tow, probably comfortable for 4-5 divers. Looks pretty clean in the pics.
I'm not the seller. Just thought I'd bring it up in case anyone is in the market.
