I'm glad you found someone Bill, normally I would jump on the chance but my weekend has been a little topsy-turvy. Shoot me a pm the next time or post here and we'll see what we can work out. Have a good dive!

It is flexible enough for him, the valve is located near the left shoulder, and it has a front zipper (rather than rear/shoulder blades...allowing for self donning/doffing). I think it even came with a pocket, and the price wa...

"Canned awesomeness" is awesome!

I heard on NPR that if you get a song stuck in your head you should start singing "The Girl from Ipanema" and it will knock it right out. I've been pretty successful with that.

A 21W salvo can light, used but in pretty good shape. I should have it by Friday. \:D/ Congrats- you're gonna love it! Thanks! I'm really ex...

Yes, it was indeed a spectacular day to dive. The viz rocked, the weather was spectacular, and the dive buddies were awesome. I’m glad you had fun on the third dive, I was sorry to have to miss it. My party was a lot of fun, though. (btw, if you are looking for a theme for a theme party, my friend t...

I totally understand. I don’t like going in blind, either, and yes, poor planning can lead to some rather nasty surprises. Underwater is NOT the place for nasty surprises. I love diving with people that have similar experiences and similar training…this really does make it all a bit easier. But I al...

Does help to know if you are doing a 2 min or 20 min dive to the Ibeams :) Or just ask once 10mins into the dive and you can pretty easily gauge where your buddy is proportionate to your consumption. Can get to be a pain with dis...

Yes, you should discuss gas management during your preplanning. However checking up on each other during the dive is just good communication. There’s nothing “shaky” about that. Besides, nobody hops in the water perfect right off the bat….education and practice take time. Certainly with new divers o...

Slightly OT, but how do you handle diving with unfamiliar divers who just give back the "OK" when you ask for a pressure? Occasionally I've been on "Pick up" dives with people I don't know, and getting the OK back when asking for a pressure check kind of irritates me in this cas...
