My Apollo kicked my D6 in it's vagina. Just close the valves in the boots. "problem" solved (tho I never had one). Never leaked anywhere BUT my dry-glove system. I have the BARE D6 now. I like the suit. I have only had one or two leaks and I abuse it regularly. I have two friends that are ...

Re: Harpers Ferry 1/28/12
:BDub: ohhhhhhh the math. It hurts my brain ok, so how does a steel 78 have 85.68 cf?? an 80 is actually 77.4 at it's rated pressure of 3000psi. and I think you meant Less than '<'. D Well, I believe a steel 78 is a low pressure bottle, which means it's rated as 78cuFt if it is pressurized to 2640, ...

Re: Seeking a diving mentor
1. I fear madness not. Thank goodness for that. 2. Work keeps me until 1730. I am not up to night diving, yet. Weekends are my own, though, and I have a sweet shore shelter thingie. As Josh said, pretty much anything past 50 or 60 feet is getting close to a dim/dark dive anyways. "Some of the ...

What Josh said. 25 dives in, I was certain that I couldn't get any better.. reflecting back on that now I realize just how much I sucked at it. Now 100 more dives from now I will be giggling at the "progress" I have made. The big thing is just diving as much as possible with people who are...

its sometimes a hard balance between corking and neutral buoyancy with neoprene.. on my BARE I always open the exhaust all of the way then close it about a quarter of a turn and just leave it that way for the whole dive (usually) as soon as I gain my neutral (I only use my suit, not my BCD) I make s...
