I need to do this dive again and take photos.

Re: Gulf of Mexico Diving
I haven't been to Corpus in many years, but there were a couple of shops with boats and some wrecks/artificial reefs that were a fair distance off shore. If you are going to go down there I think that taking a charter to the Flower gardens out of Galveston is your best bet.

Uwatec has a long history as a reliable BT. The batteries last forever, it has big numbers and it is cheap.

Re: Ling with something in its mouth -- what?
Reminds me of my fishing days when we would bring up something from depth and have the gas bladder sticking out the mouth. Maybe this is one that was drug up from depth and then released? Here is a red snapper from down deep, with same gas bladder showing. Was from tip of Vancouver Island fishing. ...

And it sounds like you assume that you are competent. Stop being obscure, have you taken a class or have you watched a few people think you have it all figured out?

Re: Is a DPV Class Worth Taking?
From wikipedia... In logic an assumption is a proposition that is taken for granted, as if it were true based upon presupposition without preponderance of the facts. Ergo, where did I say my moving towards a GUE kit had anything to do only with my GEM, as if its the only piece of dive gear I own and...

Diving articulated hardsuits was a major bitch. I'd imagine with more advanced gyro's today, they are alot easier. Fly by wire even better. Wow, you dived hardsuits? Salvage diving, or what? Cant talk on specifics of those days, but were deep water rescue operations. You'll have to read between the...
