Re: Recomendations for Dry Gloves

Thanks for the pics, my Velcro is different than yours. The Velcro on mine starts right after the seal connection to the suit. Guess I'll need to see it in person sometime. We may just have to go out for a dive.

Thanks I will take you up on that someday. Any chance for a picture in the meantime? I am off to "sunny" chicago for the holidays. No diving for a week.

Re: Recomendations for Dry Gloves

Thanks for all the input. Ended up being gifted the Vikinig Classic design (Si Tech Rings), pullover gloves. Have yet to dive them, but installed them the other day on my whites fusion bullet suit. Others that have done this, what have you done to ensure the Velcro straps do not interfere with the r...

Recomendations for Dry Gloves

I have a Whites Fusion Bullet and am looking for dry glove options. I have the standard, not quick change, seals. Any opinions and recommendations on where to buy would be very helpful. Not looking to spend a fortune, just something that will keep me dry and something I can do myself.

Re: Tuesday night

If nobody on here takes you up on it, check in at the Scuba Shoppe in auburn, they dive there every Tuesday night at 6:30. Only 1 tank dive, but at least it gets you in the water.

Re: Diver missing in Tacoma?

This is the part that really bothers me... Witnesses on shore called 911 to report hearing a diver in distress, but the response was briefly canceled after the diving group reported they were all OK and accounted for. It was a few minutes later when they realized they were indeed missing a woman. Ou...

Lake Washington Dive Sites

Does anyone have any advice for good lake Washington dive sites? Not looking to go much deeper than 100'. Just got my first (running) boat, and looking to get used to the boat on the lake before taking it out to sound. Any suggestions are welcome, also any interested in joining, preferably with a bo...

FS: AL80 tank

Hydro and Vis performed 6/14 at Tacoma Scuba. Asking $100 or possible trade for other scuba gear, not sure what I want/need but open to offers. I have only used the tank twice since I got it, typically dive LP95s. It is full of air and has a Yoke valve. Doesn't make sense to keep it around. http://i...

Re: Looking for kid size gear

I have the PIF bag that I have been trying to offload for a while. There are some items in there that may be of use. I know there is a very basic smaller pink BCD (looks brand new) that is in there along with some fins, snorkles, masks, and a few other things. I live in Auburn and dive most Tuesdays...

Must have been swimming around you guys. Went there with the Scuba Shoppe on Sunday. Had some equipment issues, but got to see some great stuff before everything started going wrong. Not a huge fan of the pilings, but the rock wall was amazing. Great viz!

Equipment Issues, Drysuit

A few months ago I bought a New (never in water) Whites Fusion Bullet from a member on here. Everything looked great and was in new condition. Problem is I have not had a single dry dive with it. First issue was when I went to trim the neck seal, it split about the entire lenght, so I had to replace...

Made a lot of progress... Boat is on to a new owner! lol. If it werent for the OMC I/O setup I would have rebuilt. Because it was an OMC setup it did not make sense to dump that much money into a boat that old. Search continues...

Re: Free Fixer-Upper Dive Boat to Good Home

I have seen several 302 blocks on craigslist, however not just any 302 will work for marine application. If it is an old truck block it may work, but car blocks I have heard will not hold up to the stresses put on a marine engine. We are weighing our options about getting this thing going. Its a pr...
