Re: Eastern Wa. Tri cities Columbia river diving
I live in Yakima and have thought about checking out the Columbia River. There's a map on the atomic ducks website with dive locations. If you are looking for a buddy I'd be willing to explore around with ya.

Re: mask - nose area
I have had nasal reconstruction and a flat bridge as well, I've had good luck with the XS Fusion. But personally I was happy after trying out several different masks to see what fit me and doing a "fit check" that the salesmen suggested. There's a ton of variety and some shops have a pool ...

A lot of dive computers have an altitude function, check to see if you can set it for your current elevation.

Lake Chelan Cleanup Dive Report
We had a total of 7 divers and 1 snorkeler. Total combined cleanup time was 5 hours 33 minutes. Visibility was great going to 30FT. Weather was awesome and we all had a good time. Definitely a big fan of freshwater lake dives now. This was with the Wenatchee Area Divers who are a great group to dive...

Great day and great turnout. I found a skateboard but after about 4 minutes trying to pull it out of the mud and getting silted out I called it.PapaZ wrote: Oh, as usual for the area, we expect the great viz to be about 2 or 3 feet until we stir up the silt.

Columbia River Scuba Diving
I heard that there were groups of people who dive in the Kennewick area regularly and I was wondering if anyone had any information on how I can attend these dives, I live in Yakima and would like to get more diving under my belt and running to the Seattle area or Hoodsport isn't something I can do ...

Hey Z, is there going to be any boat diving in Hoodsport this weekend? I think I saw Yakima Dive Club listed on Pacific Adventures but I didn't know if it that was us on Friday or some other group.

I really wish there was an area were we could dive semi regularly just to get wet time and practice buoyancy and safety drills. The Dive Club is doing some dives in Hoodsport this weekend but I really want dive time.

Re: 2016 Yakima Dive Club Promo Video
Is their Facebook page actually active? I posted a question a couple months ago with no reply. I was going to try and make one of the meetings, but I am at work. Trying to see if there is anywhere in Yakima worth diving. I post to it sometimes, I posted an article from Reddit there the other day (a...
