Re: Regulator service
One of the greatest lies ever told is "Yeah, scuba is expensive, but once you get all your gear you're just paying for air fills!". Ahahahahaaa! Yeah.

Dry, definitely! Get a suit that fits well and the warmest undergarments you can manage. Many shops offer a drysuit orientation class with the purchase of a suit.

How cool is that?! Awesome costume!
We are going to an event for grad students at the Burke Museum and I haven't figured out my costume yet. I've been doing Sexy -insert non-sexy thing- costumes for years. I did Sexy Moldy Leftovers last year. Maybe a Sexy Rock this year? Sexy Parking Ticket?

I have one that you can have, but I will need to check when I get home to make sure it still inflates. It's not the greatest but you're welcome to have it for free.

Hello fellow divers! One of my nieces got certified over the summer (yay!!) and I sent her my backup gear plus some new stuff to help defray the cost. I am looking to replace the computer I sent her with an inexpensive option. Brand doesn't matter as I keep it in gauge mode. Let me know if you have ...

Interesting to see that the engine compartment didn't appear to be the source, and it sounds like the crew did all they could.
The only two exits for the berths went into the same area (not news, I know), but that will be something I look for the next time I'm on such a boat.

I'm not surprised by the latest legal proceedings, but that doesn't negate my outrage. Our house burned down when I was a child, and even as young as I was I remember my parents talking about the fights with the insurance company. Fortunately nobody was hurt, but we did lose everything, and my paren...
