3 Tree was maybe 3ft down to 35ft. After that it opened to 15-20ft. Pretty nice dive actually.

Personally, I don't think it's needed. I've never been asked to see dive logs when I travel so I just don't do it.

There were a ton more jellies past the satellite dish. Not sure how far North you guys made it but I was swarmed with them at one point. You can also just drop off gear and park on Maplewild Ave SW. I think there's only parking at the site for 2 cars, but should be plenty of room for 3-4 more on Maplewild.

I'm on Bainbridge so I'm usually good for diving. Haven't really dove on the west side of the sound much other than on Bainbridge though.

A strobe will be much more beneficial than a new camera. Of course, both would be better, but a strobe alone will take up your $500 limit.
