I use the Northern Diver dry glove ring system and have not had any problems with them. I'll admit though, they are a little pricey at underwater sports...fortunately for me I was in London over the summer and got em for 60 quid. Roughly 120 bucks. I can't compare with the diving concepts (never use...

used Aqualung US Divers Rocket Fins for sale
I have one used pair of the US Divers (Aqualung) Rocket fins for sale. They have the clasps/buckles but no heel straps. It appears the buckles can be easily removed/replaced. Also, there is a grommet in the tip of one of the fins. They say fits all sizes, but I would say they equal size L of the Scu...

The owner's wife found out how much it costed so it has to sell fast! Funniest thing I have heard all day. Btw, how did he like the mask, and anyone else who has had experience diving it, does it live up to the sweet idea of having a completely integrated computer/mask? It seems a little bulky and ...

Scott I am sort of a newb as well...but the main reasons I'd choose between LP and HP steel tanks are the weight and size (affecting trim), and the fact that my first stage has a yoke valve. I'll most likely get a DIN valve setup eventually, and dive high pressure tanks, but maybe not for a while, w...

Cool, I've been wanting to look into HP tanks. However, I have a yoke valve setup...would I have to switch to DIN? And do you mean 120s? or 102? Funny, I just emailed back and forth with my instructor, prolly taking rescue in September. Thanks again for more info, if I don't respond for a while, it'...

thanks for the speedy replies. I am actually overseas...so my logbook and laptop that have my dives downloaded to it are not near me...or I would attempt to give better dive profiles and SAC rate. I have already PMed back and forth with grateful diver a bit, and am planning on a gas management semin...

Tank sizes, suggestions?
Forgive me if this is redundant, I am trying to catch up on reading posts here, but didn't want to dig too deep into the past. I suppose redundancy is great for divers...heh I am a new diver (sub 100 logged) and currently dive a single steel 80. My dive buddy does the same, in fact we have very simi...

For what it's worth, I dive an Apollo drysuit and love it every time. It too, is a very basic suit, comes in any color you want as long as it's black. Latex seals, 4 mil neoprene - which I haven't had any problems taking too long to dry. It also has foot valves, which were nice to start/getting used...

Anyone ever volunteer at the Seattle Aquarium? I know I know, why dive in a 400,000 gallon tank, feeding fish and talking to visitors via a wireless headset underwater, when we have the Puget Sound... Don't they have a six gill research facility under the pier? Just interested in your thoughts. Prol...

I dive an apollo drysuit...4 mil neoprene. Fairly new diver, and have put money toward other gear, rather than an undersuit. And yep, I have done the typical, rei fleece pants/top, with maybe a capilene or two. Upgrading to an undersuit has always been the plan, just a matter of when. I get a bit co...

Greetings NW Divers, My name is Jacob, and I have been diving for a year and some change. My allegiance has been with UWS from the get go, I suppose that is a good thing round here... Right, I love diving and have trained through the advanced open water course. I go to university, and have lived in ...
