Just got back from a nice day at Flagpole! We dove it from the shore and the swim out was mild. We dropped onto the knuckle and then went over the wall to about 130. The viz was about 20 feet. The wall is very healthy. We saw 2 very big GPO's out on the rocks and a number of others sitting on eggs. ...

My days off are changing. I am looking for Monday divers. I will be driving from Portland, so Hoodscanal or South Sound.

I have been to the Playa/Cozumel are a number of times. I really like "Papa Hogs" on Cozumel. They are a small operation. They run small 6 packs that are very fast. They dive some of the deeper walls and better sites. I have never felt unreasonably restricted diving with them.

Even the Big 3 will tell you that this bailout isn't a cure. The big 3 asked for 30 billion dollars to get them through January 30th. The Big 3's idea of long range planning is all based on the current quarters profit line.

This whole thing is crap!!

Yes the day has been set aside as a "tech only" charter. Don runs a 6 pack boat. His service is very professional and always a great day!

Just know that with the economy local dive shops are hurting. Some are struggling to keep the doors open. Do your best to be loyal to a local dive shop and try to give them the business that you can.
