Re: Viz Reports Thread
Cove 2 was about 20-25 feet once you got below 10fsw. You don't need a flashlight until you get past 90 feet. As a plus, the new showers are back on.

Re: Deception Pass Bridge 4/2/16
Really nice pictures Erika and Bob. I missed the wolf eel. My camera spent most of the dive clipped to a D-ring however I did put together a short video of the dive. https://vimeo.com/161523157

Re: Mike's Beach is awesome!!!
+1 for Mike's Beach Resort. I was last there in September 2014 with Coll, Janney, and my wife. After our first night dive were surface swimming back in and looking up I could clearly see the Milky Way. Next time I want to grab the RV with the hot tub (if it's still there). Great video!

Welcome Bruce. And +1 on what Jeff Pack said. And BTW, just so happens I read your article regarding your current views on deep stops. In November 2015 you wrote "...After this I was using 40/70. The 70 drifted out to 75 or even 85 over time as I became more confident that the shallower first s...

Re: Possession Point Fingers
Looks like you all had a great time. I was planning to go but Friday night I developed a sore throat that kept me awake until 2am. When the alarm went off at 5am, there was no way I was getting out of bed on only 3 hours of sleep. %$#@

Erika, the item on the left side of your picture is what you get for being at Microsoft. I think the blue band is for 5 years. I have my 5-year award but I don't remember what color it was.

Re: Underwater trash clean up fun dive
I could get behind this idea, after some instruction about what and what not to pick up. The video of one diver holding the goodie bag while the other one fills it looked very efficient. I'm going to have to take issue with the idea of no dry gloves. Double 100 cu. ft. tanks means longer bottom time...

If I can ask a favor while you're out there, can you be on the lookout for a yellow fin?

Wish I could have been there but I had other obligations (at least it was dive-related, I turned out four new Rescue Divers on Saturday). The shots from the drone are outstanding, what a great perspective.

Wanted, lost fin
The fin pictured here is missing its sibling. It was last seen in 10 feet of water at EUP about half way between the ferry dock and the jetty. You can easily recognize it by the left footed boot in the foot pocket with the initials ED on it. Let's help Emily from having to swim in circles.

Re: New to NWDC, looking for a dive buddy!
Hello Brian, Welcome to the insanity. There are some weekly dives but mostly after work. When you say you want to hit Edmonds before work, what time would you be looking at? In addition, what part of the Seattle-Tacoma-Everett area do you live in? And by the way, good for you to wanting to get back ...

Re: Hollis F2 fins
I don't know about the F2, but I own a pair of F1 fins. My initial experience with the F1 fins was like yours. Took me about five dives to get used to them. Now you can't take them away from me. What I like about them is that just the slightest twist of my ankle changes my position. Really great for...
