Hi Bassman & Lynne, Thanks for your replies. Lynne, Bob offered some tanks as well. Between you and him I should be all squared away. (Your tanks have DIN valves, right?) Thanks for the offer on the canister. I have my own but always like having spare equipment on standby "just in case"...

Buddies needed for a week of evenings at Cove2

Hey everybody, I'm a forum-lurker from Kennewick. I will be in Seattle July 9-13 for a board exam prep class. Class is daily from 8:00am-6:00pm but I just found out that class is only 4 miles from Alki beach and my hotel is about 2. Don't know how I could pass up this chance to do some evening dives...

Nice. For those here not familiar with these firearms, this is an extremely high-quality weapon. New price for this model is as high as $900! =D>

I am with John. Opposing the piling removal will 'look like' opposing 'Save the Sound'. Above all else we as a dive community need to maintain zealous support of 'Save the Sound' both in action and appearances. As much as I hate it, appearances are important here. We can NEVER appear as an obstacle....

Last week my brother lost a jetfin at cove2. If you find it and give it back you can keep the spring strap that's on it!

Sorry for your loss. I know it's frustrating.

I guess you didn't get the memo on the rule of lost fins.... You must also throw the other in at the end of the dive. That way who ever finds it finds two... :smt064 Good luck finding your fin, just pulling your leg... He he. That's a good one. We had just picked up some tanks from NWSD and Dan had...

Lost Jetfin at Cove2 01-19-07

On a night dive Friday the 19th my brother lost one of his jetfins about half way between shore and the white/red buoy. Size Large with nice black webbing covered spring strap with grommeted pull tab. If found please send me a note. Thanks very much!
