Re: GoBe Light setup for GoPro?

I, too, would be interested in hearing how your lights work out. I have a pair of Fisheye FIX Neo 2000's that work great for what I do, but I'm always keeping an eye on what other GoPro shooters are having success with. The Light and Motion tray is great. I use one for when I'm diving with friends t...

Re: Dive flag (deep boat) float

Need to change a (no need cut) old first chain (almost worn out) with second good chain attach anchor shakle below a dive flag float. Hope a team check and fix good buoy.[/quote] We came to the same conclusion after yesterday's inspection dive. At least the block is still there (under the watchful e...

Mukilteo "T-dock" - June 28 - afternoon flood

Let's just say, we paid homage to our can lights! Without them, there would have been a lot of inappropriate touching in order to keep the team together ;-)

Re: Dive flag (deep boat) float

I'm working with "the man" of dive buoys, Mr. Randy with a "Y" ;-) We are pulling our resources together to line up a nice visible buoy/dive site marker. A team of us are going out there this weekend to check it out.

Re: Dive flag (deep boat) float

The buoy is old and sunk not that long ago... it needs to be replaced. I'm gonna ask around in my circles and see if any of the groups are interested in investing in a replacement.

Let me know if anyone here is planning on doing something, so the efforts are not duplicated.

I've run into them in the deeper parts of Three Tree, but haven't seen one since 2012.

Don - Do you usually run into them at certain sites, or just randomly? I'd love to get some video of them!

My heart goes out to you, Koos. Mourn their passing, celebrate their lives. Thank you for including the second article. Re: Travel Bag for Carry-on

Wow! Thank you ALL for your input.
Based on your advice, I've decided to carry on my computers and regs and check the rest.

This will be my first time out of the country (Canada doesn't count) and my first big dive vacation, so I really appreciate the help!

Travel Bag for Carry-on

I'm a minimalist when it comes to air travel and prefer to keep everything in a carry-on. I'm heading off to Mexico in a few months and would appreciate some recommendations for travel bags or creative packing ideas. Here's what I'll be taking: Dive Rite EXP fins, 4/5mm full wetsuit, light backplate...

Re: Hat (Gedney) Island Barges have been removed.

How on Earth would removing the sunken barges improve the marina breakwater wall? That's a very good question, John. Perhaps they removed them in anticipation of the cruise ships they hope to receive into their shiny new port ;o) A little fact I picked up while looking into the Hat Island marina pr...

[INSERT HAND SIGNAL FOR "Hi" HERE]

Looking at some of the active members on this well staffed site, I see quite a few familiar avatars. Some of you know me directly, while others, I've been casual with (not that kind of "casual", people!) at the usual Puget Sound teaching haunts (Coves, T-dock, Redondo, etc.). My name is Sc...
