Egad! Sorry I missed this, but I find myself living without internet for days at a time recently! I spent the day shclepping dive gear off charter boats, but it was still amusing...sort of. Met a great group of folks from California and England, now all I need is the air miles to travel to dive with...

Yep, it was cheesy, but as Josh pointed out, it was "Monster" Quest. I also laughed alot, but I actually thought some of the background info was interesting, and while the divers were "out of air"...remember, this was a television show. Staging is everything.

Sorry to hear about this! I imagine the alternate theory to Valerie's is that the culprits were on foot and could only carry so much stuff, but it does not excuse the loss! Thanks for the heads up.

I also liked the description of the wreck suddenly coming into view. (The BD sounds way more impressive than the blocks at the Narrows that loomed into view for me with the 10 foot viz on Sunday.)

We splashed at 4:35 on the Murph in Quartermaster Harbor - current about 1.5, viz maybe 15 feet when the kelp wasn't blowing in front of us as we cruised around the main deck. Maury Island Boulder field and Barges were amazing. Splashed at 6 pm. or so with amazing viz..we think horizontal viz at lea...

I also spoke with Mike and he is very frustrated, and feels badly about any charters that might have to be cancelled or postponed. The Mark V is indeed in dry dock and in for major repairs. Here's hoping that the repair process is as speedy as possible!
