Saw 2 juvi yelloweyes today at your exact same spot! So beautiful at that small size, always a pleasure to see them up close. I will be submitting this dive to REEF.

Today at Sund Rock, 25' vis below 5' of brown freshwater. Good light penetration down to 70'.

Interesting at 40' that's pretty shallow, they usually tuck in to crevices and stay in the same spot for a long time.

These are horrible tides to dive admiralty inlet and straits, not worth the 30 min dive per day. Go to hood canal.

Blakely rock east at high slack was 20-30' vis all around. The ebb started blowing chunks towards end of the dive.
Alki fishing reef was a dark 15' vis on bottom, and a chunky 5' vis layer near the surface.

Another thumbs up for la jolla cove! Parking can be a pain, go early morning. Check the ocean forecast, dont bother if the swell is bigger than 5 ft. The sea lions will swim all around you, makes a fun video/photo opp.

11/30 Sund rock 2' vis down to 20', then 10' vis down to 40', and 20' vis below 50', just low light beyond that but decent.
Thick brown blurry halocline on the surface to 15'. Wind chop and drift logs/debris made it weird too....

Close encounter with GPO - wants to ride the scooter
Got this fun video of a GPO lunging at my dive buddy, she dodges it and GPO grabs the scooter. Day island wall earlier this week, testing out scooter with gopro mounted to front. Also tried gopro dual camera mounted to scooter for 3D video, standby....

Vis 30+ at day island wall on Tuesday 10/14 for high slack tide, 20' vis at narrows bridge same day during ebb.
