Re: Diving north of Titlow?

IIRC To find the bottle field go out from the pilings kind of northwest, the bottom will drop down and then come back up on the other side of the bowl. Take a left and slowly swing south along the bowl edge and if you catch the right current it'll slowly swing back in a big loop along the bowl. Not ...

Re: Local drysuit alteration/repair

I've heard great stuff about Kalen at Tacoma Scuba, though haven't tried them myself.

I've had Hoodsport n Dive in Tumwater do some mods for me and have been very happy with the work, the price and the turn around time.

I'm out, technical difficulties with the Fischer cable feeding my Predator.... can't read the O2 sensors, can't dive.... :( are you using a little mineral oil on the connections? Yes, the pins and sockets look clean and shiny. Curt thinks it may be the ground pin/wire broken, says it is common for ...

Re: ThThTh 10/13

I've got two more CCR divers coming, we're going to meet at 5:30 and do a 6:00-ish splash.

Then with luck, I hope to splash again with the 6:30 crowd, depending on when we get out.

Good to see you're still active Dusty!

Thanks for the heads up on the dive info. We just rented a house up on Marrowstone, moving over the next couple months, so I'll be hitting those windows every chance I get. :partydance:

Condolences to his family.

The guys at UWS Tacoma are diving Les Davis at 5:30.

I'll probably do that dive and then another just down the street at Old Town for a quick bottle hunt.

For Tacoma area dives, there are a few of us that dive almost every weds eve. On the Tacoma waterfront, sometimes with the Underwater Sports guys, sometimes just us. Splash usually around 5:30 pm depending on site and currents. Last weds was Titlow park with some big octos. Then did ThThTh dive at D...
