Reminds me of the inscriptions on unknown sea areas of ancient maps: "Past here there be monsters"....

Aaaarrrrr.... (Where's my Pirate emoticon?!?)

And definitely, watch out for that Puget Sound Coral Snake at certain dive site toilets! :toimonster:

Yeah, me too... and Calvin, and Dave.

I must confess I haven't been doing surveys though.... I need to get back to it! We need to have some Dive Club members progressing up the ladder of Fish ID folks to help out with identifying the rare Puget Sound Coral Snakes!!! :toimonster:

That would be great Sparky... we'll have to talk at the BBQ. Another couple is coming with us and we are hoping to squeeze in a dive, probably Monday evening or night, or Wed day. I know that most people would be working during that time frame. If it doesn't work out this time we'll do it another! S...

Cannon Beach

I am headed to Cannon Beach Oregon for a few days of R&R, July 10 to 12.

I'll bet you can guess what's coming next?!?! YES, I'd love to squeeze in a dive! :supz:

Anybody have any suggestions for a couple of dives that aren't too far away from there????

Thanks in advance!

Hey Sparky! Looking forward to seeing you and the missus at Hood Canal. Get your Oregonian behind back into the water!! What's the matter with you?!?! :axe: I drove out to Port Townsend Saturday to meet a friend I had yet to dive with. We dove up from the ferry dock a bit behind the Swain's there. V...

Great Advice everyone... practical and very helpful! Thanks Ryan! :prayer: Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge and experience. My main reason for going doubles will be my humongous air consumption. It's getting better, even though I'm only around 40 dives. Good advice as well, Calvin....

Ooopppsss... Of course if they are required... Oh well, at least they are sort of cheap.... I beleive standard gloves are 5mm? I know a couple of gals who wear inserts, and the ones that get cold really easy use dry gloves with their dry suit!
