Well I decided it was finally time for me to make the trek Sund Rock this weekend and man was it worth it!! I picked up mannyland at 7:30am, an hour of the day he doesnt often see on the weekends, but nontheless he managed to get his gear in the car and we were off. Greeted by a beautiful sunny morn...

I know it's late notice but divernick, Mannyland and myself will be hitting Sund Rock tomorrow morning for a couple dives. Planning on meeting an Hoodsport N' dive at 9:30.

4/8 Mukilteo T-Dock was maybe 10ft up top and barely 15ft down deep.

Les Davis yesterday was 10-12ft on a very low tide.

I have the Perdix and have used a Sola on the same hand and haven't had/noticed any problems with the compass.

Thanks Stephen those are great tips I will make good use of. Never though about using the currents to avoid silt. I'm going to definitely work on image stabilization and smoother panning too. Got a lot of work to do to catch up to some of you guys!!

Thanks guys!! Im still trying to figure out how to work with limited resolution due to flat lens, and fixed length lens. Any suggestions on how to avoid/reduce backscatter when setting up my tripod? With macro I have to be so close to the subject that a lot get blow out by silt.

Hi all! I finally got around to making a video from this past winter. I survived my first winter diving in the sound and I'm pretty happy with how this turned out!
